Great place, well worth the cost. Perfect location.

This was our 4th or 5th time staying at The Factory Flats, and it continues to be our top choice when visiting family in Buchanan. The apartment is always clean, quiet, and well stocked, making it a comfortable and stress-free experience every time. One of the highlights of this trip, being right next door to A Few Old Goats Brewery, was getting to try their new sunflower beer—a unique and refreshing treat! The location really adds to the charm and convenience of the stay. Steven, the host, is consistently responsive and helpful, which makes the booking and check-in process smooth and easy. We truly appreciate his hospitality and attention to detail. Highly recommend The Factory Flats to anyone visiting the area. Looking forward to our next stay!

It was so nice having all of the common items already available for my long term stay. It was just like staying in my own apartment. Very comfortable and surrounded by gorgeous mountains and trails. Steve was a fantastic host. Thanks!

Great host and great place! We loved the beautiful view and enjoyed our time hiking and sight seeing! The host is incredibly responsive, reasonable, and helpful. We loved how the place was decorated and even stocked with small snacks and plenty of spices for cooking. Would definitely recommend this stay!

We've stayed with Stephen at the factory flats a few times now and it never disappoints. The place is clean, the onsite brewery is wonderful, and it is extremely close to town so you have easy access to the river and great restaurants like Mrs. B's, The Drip, and First XI Coffee. Don't miss Foot of the Mountain restaurant on the other side of town too!

Great unit and great location. Being familiar with the area, this AirBnB along with adjacent brewery is a great addition to the town of Buchanan, Va. Unit was clean and comfortable, easy check-in and out.

We stayed for the 4th of July fair in downtown and you could not beat the location. Walking distance to everything in town. Has all the amenties you need at home! Steve was very responsive and reached out many times to check on us.

Great location for my family visit. trendy space, safe, clean. My only recommendation might be a pair of ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. The acoustics/door slams carry throughout. Overall, awesome. Will stay here every time if possible.

This Airbnb is with beautiful view of the mountains of Virginia. Plenty of parking to choose from. The inside is spacious and clean. Kitchen is a decent size to cook in with a dishwasher, microwave, and huge fridge. The road to it is a little winding to get there but there are several gas stations and convenience stores nearby. If you need a place away from busy city life and a cute mountain vibes, this is the place to go.

Steve’s place is in a beautiful area with gorgeous mountain view’s. Being right next door to A Few Old Goats Brewing was a great perk too! Access was easy and it was a comfy place to stay, I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Botetourt County!

Everything with the apartment was great. The video that Stephen sends prior to arrival is very helpful. Midweek restaurants close early or may be closed for that day so plan accordingly. Beautiful little town.

Friendly host and a wonderful small town.

We absolutely loved this place! A quick drive to Roanoke and only about 20-30 minutes from our favorite trails. Stephen was incredibly responsive and had so many resources available to us in the Airbnb - different chargers for different phones, coffee and creamers, snacks etc. Everything was clean and in good shape, we will definitely be back!

The unit was exactly like the pictures and very clean. The bed was hug and very comfortable. There was adequate parking for all the units and the brewery next door. Having a great brewery next door was a plus for us. We did have some issues getting into the unit but Stephen was very responsive and was able to get us in using a back-up lock code. I would definitely stay there again!

had a hiccup with the codes upon arrival but was quickly remedied. neighbors dogs were noisy for a bit. but super cool place. I would definitely stay again. and bonus points right next to a super dog friendly brewery!

It’s such a nice place and would definitely stay again! The host responds very fast and is helpful. I liked how it had everything you’d need but wasn’t overwhelming. Great views, awesome swinging bridge down the road across from the gas station, and a cool brewery right next store!

We had a great weekend. Stephen sent detailed instructions before we arrived on how to access the apartment. Everything was clean and comfortable. The apartment is in an old industrial building - love how they renovated it! The exterior door did wake me (the hallway echos) the first night, but I used a fan app and slept great the next two nights. We didn't hear footsteps, voices or TVs the entire time. It was an incredibly peaceful, restful stay - worth every penny! We will be back!

I loved this place felt like our little home. The Apartment was small but roomy. Had everything we needed. Heard some noise from other tenants (barking mostly) but it did not bother us too bad. The host was very friendly and gave us very clear instructions. Bedroom was very cozy and i loved the kitchen. There wasn’t much to do in surrounding area but i enjoyed the peace.

Stephen provided a wonderful stay for us. It had all the amenities we needed, and was also in a great location. There were plenty of charges for our devices, and the snacks provided were awesome! The brewery next door was only a few steps away, and had live music and great environment, totally worth checking out. Would highly recommend, and will definitely be returning in the future.

We had a lovely three day stay here. There are doggie neighbors who make noise during the day so that made us feel more at home since we brought our dog on this trip. 😁 There is also a dog station outside and room to walk which was very convenient. Everything was neat and tidy, and the bed is super comfortable.

We absolutely loved this cute little Airbnb! The high ceilings, the cozy bedroom, small but roomy kitchen - we loved all of it! The bathroom was on the smaller side but we made it work. This was probably one of our top airbnbs we have stayed at so far! Host was very helpful making our experience great! We will definitely be back! For others staying, just be mindful that the parking lot can be a bit packed. We would give this place 10 stars if we could! :)

Great accommodation - had everything we needed, super comfortable bed and a brewery onsite. A perfect base for mountain bike adventures.

Stephen's rental is very interesting and unique in design with plenty of space in the kitchen and living room. The bedroom closet is huge, which was a blessing for us because we had really packed our vehicle. Everything was clean and comfortable. The kitchen has a large refrigerator/freezer, stove and everything else you would need to prepare and store meals. Besides condiments, Stephen provided coffee and snacks, a very nice treat. We enjoyed our brief stay and would definitely stay again if traveling in this area.

The rental location was perfect for hiking the Peaks of Otter on the Blue Ridge Parkway and checking out natural bridge. Everything was exactly as described and very clean. We enjoyed checking out the brewery next store, A Few Old Goats. Views were amazing. Everyone at the brewery and in the quaint town of Buchanan was super friendly!

The unit was well maintained. Owner was very responsive to questions. Good communication.

Steve’s place was very nice, quiet, and with every amenity you may need. It was different with the open, high ceilings! Beautiful view. Location was ideal for our event in Lexington and second event the next day in Roanoke. Can’t wait until the brewery opens! We will definitely stay again! Thank you!
