Absolutely one of the best places I have stayed so far on my travels. Steve’s place was a total knockout and such a cool building. It was clean, comfortable and way worth more than the price I paid. It has a full kitchen, living room, bathroom, laundry and walkable distance to the cute town of Buchanan. I will be staying here every time from now on. Steve was very helpful and super responsive if I needed anything. Amazing stay!

This was one of the custest home we have stayed in. The bedroom was cute, the living room, the kitchen. It was all perfect! We really loved the industrial look of the place but how it also felt homey. Stephen, the host, was so helpful and polite, and extreme responsive. The kitchen had everything we needed. Sufficient pots and pans. There was even avocado oil and coffee filters. One suggestion - add garlic to the spices (but I'm also a garlic powder lover and cook every meal with it). We would absolutely stay here again.

It was wonderful it was very clean. It was very comforting and cozy and just perfect for me and my husband we celebrate my birthday and our anniversary there and there’s a brewery right next to us so we really enjoyed that too. On top of being able walk to James River.

Stephen's place was awesome, very modern cozy. Not too far from Roanoke and Blacksburg. It had everything that was needed, including all toiletries and laundry items. Stephen was very responsive. Great place! Truly appreciated the snacks! Nice gesture.

The King bed was fabulous, great kitchen and clean items with a few snacks! Washer/dryer and back entrance worked great. Comfy couch and the open ceilings made the place feel big!

Stephen was wonderful to work with. He was very responsive and provided detailed check-in (including a video) and check-out instructions. He even sent a message making sure check-in went well and to let him know if we needed anything. The apartment was as described - comfortable, clean and well supplied with all we needed. We will definitely be back!

My fiancé and I stayed here for a weekend getaway and it was great! Check in was super easy and the apartment was very comfortable! He had all the basic necessities and the view of the mountains was great. A short car ride to the state park and other trails/hikes!

This space was perfect for a traveling healthcare worker like myself. It was clean, well-stocked, and had a great aesthetic—loved the industrial vibes. Even though the town is quiet, the location felt like a peaceful retreat. The host was great and everything was just as described

The place was exactly as described. A great peaceful location to downtown (walking distance with sidewalks) and access to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Natural Bridge, James River and many scenic sites to visit. Host was very proactive in communication and quick to reply. Directions to the location, parking instructions and access were easy to follow. Overall a great place to stay!

Stephen was a GREAT host! He sent me a great "How To Check-in" video before the trip. This showed where to park and how to enter the apartment. He was responsive and proactive with anything and everything we needed! 10/10 would absolutely stay here again!!!

You can not ask for better accommodations! Room is super modern. Steve is an excellent host. Everything has been thought, down to spices in the kitchen that has granite countertops. Nothing not to love about the accommodations or the beautiful surroundings! Yes, we will be coming back!

This place was exactly as pictured, and the bed was comfortable. I wish the sofa was deeper and wider, but it was comfy. The only real issue we had was the noise. It's about 100 yards from active railroad tracks and the side entry door to the building is literally right next to the front entry door of this apartment, so every time someone entered or exited the building from the side entrance there is a loud door shutting noise. We also turned the ice maker off at night because it was really noisy since there is no ceiling over the bedroom. Pros: -Easy parking & entry -Pictures are accurate -Lots of natural light -10 steps away from a brewery -Location to hiking, trails, etc. -Washer and dryer in unit -Reasonably priced and no cleaning fee -Friendly little town -Allows pets Cons: -Mainly the noise if you're a light sleeper. -Close to active railroad which did come by twice during the night. -Pet fee isn't specified when you book. We paid around $98 (pet fee) for a 3-night stay.

Such a cute apartment! Stephen was ahead of the game with instructions and the whole process was a breeze! Very thoughtful with a small snack basket! Def well stay here again!

Staying at the Factory Flats was absolutely perfect! The price was incredible. It was so cozy and the surroundings were gorgeous. It was centrally located to all that we needed to do! We were coming to meet Mark Cline of Enchanted Castle Studios in Natural Bridge, VA. He builds our 20 Foot Tall Roadside Attractions for Route 66 in Tulsa, OK! We were able to soak in the beauty all around! Great local coffee shop, some good dining in town. I would HIGHLY recommend this place to stay! Also, if you like breweries, there is a brewery located ON the property! THANK YOU for helping us make our experience wonderful!

Such a nice clean place to stay! Great host very responsive.

Perfect spot to stay while hiking in the area. The place was clean and looked exactly like the photos. We had everything we needed, extra treats were a plus. This room is by the outside door so you can hear people going in and out but not too disruptive. Also train tracks right outback, train did come through several times in the evening but again did not bother us. We enjoyed a drink at the brewery next door and had dinner at Mrs. B’s, only place open on a Monday, which was average. Definitely recommend the Drip, breakfast sandwiches were delicious, variety of coffee drinks and ice cream. I would stay again if in the area.

Exactly what we were looking for. We came to Buchanan to visit Natural Bridge and Warm Springs, VA. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed.

Awesome communications

Me and my girlfriend went for a Valentine’s Day weekend trip. I wanted to surprise her with a decorated bedroom with balloons and rose petals, etc. Stephen was extremely helpful through the process and helped me be able to surprise her with beautiful decorations. The place was very nice and clean. Stephen was very responsive and helpful.

The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to cook meals! It had a few extras such as snacks and charging cables to make the space just a little bit more welcoming. We loved the proximity to A Few Old Goats Brewery. Super clean and beautiful decor inside. Stocked with everything you needed even phone and Apple Watch chargers. Only downfall was you could hear the outside door when people went in and out but we loved our stay!

Convenient location to visit family in Buchanan. There was a parade and vendors on Main Street which was fun. The holiday lights were terrific.

Excellent repurpose of an industrial building into fabulous apartments. Stephen’s apartment is super clean and well designed. The mattress was comfortable, sheets and towels were plush. All in a beautiful location…this is the perfect setup for an awesome getaway.

This is a rare find, place is build beautifully different and view right outside is pristine. I would stay again.

My wife and I spent our anniversary here and it was honestly perfect. With a brewery literally next door and a 20 minute drive from the safari (not to mention the location is in a small, beautiful in the mountains, it was absolutely perfect. Will be visiting again next year!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The apartment was exactly as advertised, and had everything we needed. It was the perfect spot for us as we enjoyed exploring the area, and we loved the close proximity to Twin Rivers for kayaking. We both said we would stay again with no hesitations!

Loved this place so much. So well decorated and cozy. Staying here was the best part of a weekend in the country!

The space is well maintained, presented as very clean and had nice perks like provided charging chords and snacks. Check in was easy and communication with host was quick and efficient. As other have stated, there’s a brewery next door that isn’t open yet, but is the same distance as where you park your vehicle. Couple things to note is that this is directly located next to an operational train track. Also, this is the first unit next to an entry/exit door. The doors are thin and you can hear when people enter and exit. It was not an issue for us and we would happily stay here again.

Place was brand new. Brewery is 50 feet away and will be cool when it opens. Very well appointed and clean. Nice snacks. Very industrial feel so if you are looking for a country or woodsy feel this would not fit. Still very nice. $97/night was the ad price but after cleaning and air b&b fees it was closer to $160. On the second night the snake alarm battery beep began, going off every 60-90 seconds. At 15 feet up they couldn’t even reached. Owner refunded that restless night which was great. Easy walk to two good coffee places. Mrs. Bs for lunch or dinner is acceptable with friendly service.

This apartment was so cute and comfortable! The brick and painted concrete made for a refreshing feel on a cool day. It was nice to be able to do laundry. My husband and I stayed here on vacation to do some hiking in the area and we were not disappointed— very close access to a lot of great trails!

We recently stayed at Factory Flats in downtown Buchanan, Virginia, while visiting family and had a fantastic experience. The newly remodeled 1-bedroom apartment is stylish, modern, and incredibly comfortable and extra cool since some of my in-laws worked there when it was an actual factory! The apartment was spotless and had thoughtful touches like snacks, a washer/dryer with laundry supplies, an icemaker, and even q-tips. It’s very close to The Drip (best breakfast in Buchanan) and the James River, with plenty of green space for walking the dogs. Although the on-site brewery wasn’t open yet, I can’t wait to check it out next time. The location is perfect for exploring downtown Buchanan's shops, restaurants, and sights. Overall, a wonderful stay, and we will definitely stay again!
