Overall very positive stay. the place was clean, location is very walkable to downtown. feels pretty safe overall, I had no worries parking my car on the street. only issue was that an onsite parking spot/garage is listed in the amenities. however the only parking available is on the street (only 2 hours during business hours) or in a gravel lot about a quarter block down and across the street.

Stayed for a week while waiting on an apartment to open up. Beth was incredibly responsive with any questions about check-in and parking. The unit is in such a fun location, with Bibliopub, several restaurants and breweries, and the diversity center all being right next door. If we have need to stay in Roanoke proper again, we’ll definitely stay here. 😌

We felt really comfortable in this cozy spot. There were quite a few local places that were easy to walk to. Beth was very responsive and professional. Would absolutely stay again!

We love Beth's apartment! This was our third visit, and it felt like home. The apartment is very comfortable and close to downtown. Parking is easy, and the area is walkable. Beth is very responsive and helpful. On this visit, we were preparing to move into a new home in Roanoke (yay!), and although we probably won't need to stay again, we will definitely recommend Beth's apartment to friends visiting Roanoke. It's an excellent home-away-from-home and a great value. If you're staying, do check out Golden Cactus, Big Lick and Tuco's, just a couple minutes' walk around the corner.

What a great spot in downtown Roanoke. Easy access and very clean. Pet-friendly, yet very clean and modern. Hot shower, accessible and helpful kitchen tools. Great host excellent communications.

This place was wonderful for my stay in Virginia. Beth gave clear directions, and they also provide a video for where to park, and how to get into the apartment. I always felt safe, and at home. Loved the dark and quiet bedroom, made the stay away from home peaceful. Would stay here again!

I really enjoyed my stay . It’s the perfect location to enjoy the downtown area within walking distance. A classic breakfast sandwich just a few feet away and coffee across the street. It was super clean and comfortable:)

This was our second stay at Beth's apartment. It's a great location for walking to some of our favorite downtown Roanoke venues. And it's easy to drive to other areas. The apartment is comfortable and very clean. We quickly felt at home there. Beth is very responsive if you need anything. Definitely a great choice for a few days in Roanoke!

I had a great stay here with my dog! Beth’s apartment was super easy to find and get into—her video instructions made everything simple. Parking was no problem. The location is awesome, with a bunch of breweries and great food spots just around the corner. The apartment itself was clean, and had everything I needed. There was a minor issue with the front door, but Beth responded right away and had it fixed within an hour. Thanks again for a great stay! I’d definitely come back next time I’m in town.

Beth’s place is great! The bed is very comfortable and the location worked great for me. There are extra perks like snacks and a tea tray, which was really nice.

Proactive communication & helpful instructional videos from the host made check-in seamless. The place was spacious, clean, and conveniently located for walking. The only drawback was how bright the living room gets for anyone sleeping on the sofa bed, as the blinds let in a lot of light. The bedroom was quiet and dark, though.

Great hosts and great place to stay on your visit in Roanoke!

This nice sized apartment was a perfect place to land for a few days to explore Roanoke. We enjoyed being able to easily walk to downtown and explore the city. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need and the bed was super comfy. The walls were a little thin and we could hear some neighbors/dog's barking in the morning but it wasn't too disruptive. Overall we had a great stay at Beth's place and would stay here again!

Our stay was fantastic from the moment we booked with Beth! She was very helpful and responsive, the place was beautifully laid out in each area with lots of extra amenities. We will definitely stay again and look forward to it!

Beth’s Airbnb is a delightful place to stay in the downtown Roanoke area. Several restaurants and breweries are very close by and just four blocks to the heart of the central historic area with numerous dining, shopping and cultural attractions. I was comfortable walking at night. The decor is charming and comfortable. Highly recommend!

I stayed at Beth’s place, which is well-located and visually appealing. The parking instructions video provided was clear and helpful, and Beth was responsive. However, issues arose with claims of linen damage that were surprising, as these were not visible during our stay. This led to an unexpected charge. In addition to that, the provided towels were stained, and requests for extras and laundry detergent were met with annoyed and skeptical responses. I would recommend future renters to take pictures/ video of everything upon arrival and consider bringing their own towels to avoid similar issues. Pleasant and respectful interactions including clear, kind communication and integrity from the host in addition to clean accommodations and amenities, are crucial for a truly enjoyable stay.

Beth's place was great - had all the special touches and fully decked out. Bed was very comfortable and location was perfect for downtown.

Very nice for two people, comfortable and accommodating. We rented it for 8 days during the winter and found the location to work well for us. It doesn’t have a window in the bedroom and the living room, although nice bright during the day, has frosted windows so you can’t see outside. It’s missing a few key amenities, (like extra towels and dishes), but overall was very nice with a dishwasher, washer / dryer and is best of all, is pet friendly.

Great spot, very clean, nicely stocked, and close to enjoy Roanoke’s downtown vibe. If in town for leisure, we suggest the downtown Roanoke Food & history tour. We had a great weekend getaway here.

Really clean and nice place that is walkable to breweries. The apartment has the setup of a store front, so there are windows in the front that are right on the sidewalk that don’t open, but there are no windows in the bedroom.

I stayed here for work for a couple of nights. Great location. Able to walk downtown or cheap Uber when the rain came. Looked like several restaurants and bars were within a block but I didn’t make it to any of those. Apartment was clean, secure and Very spacious. The washer and dryer in the unit was great. Will defiantly stay again.

We had a fantastic stay in Roanoke! The location of the Airbnb couldn’t be better—just a short and easy walk to a variety of restaurants and shops, which made exploring the area a breeze. The Airbnb itself was spotless and near perfect. It was evident that the hosts put a lot of care into maintaining the space. The amenities provided were thoughtful and made our stay very comfortable. We booked last minute and this cute Airbnb was nicer than any hotel in a similar price range. We walked to several breweries, shops, a winery & restaurants. All those places were .05 miles or less, so there is so much to do right by the apartment. We loved The Hatch, Well Hung & the two breweries & the restaurant, I it was called think Beamer, right by the apartment. The bed was comfy, which is always important. The host left water & snacks for us and gave all the needed info upfront.

Great spot just as described. Parking is a challenge but they explained that and have a great video about spots to park that helped a lot. Can walk to some good restaurants just down the block or fun downtown area just a mile away. Cool loft feel and I liked the roof top sunset deck.

My friend and I definitely enjoyed our stay, the place had everything we needed! Location is okay and parking is very close. One thing to note though is that the window facing the street is frosted for privacy, but it’s the only window in the whole place. Provide plenty of light, but the bedroom is a literal cave (great for sleeping but so easy to over sleep!) The kitchen was well stocked with great coffee and snacks, overall would definitely return!

Beth's place was easy to find. The video regarding parking was very helpful. We loved the great water pressure in the shower! There was coffee and tea available, as well as some snacks. We would definitely stay here again.

This apartment is well situated as it’s only a short walk to downtown and restaurants. Around the corner there are excellent breweries: Big Lick and Cactus. We went out both nights so we didn’t sit in the living area of the apartment. We parked in the free police gravel lot and watch the You Tube video as this explains it all. There are not any windows in the property. Just the glass frontage. This was fine for us as the bedroom was very quiet and dark. Beth was in touch regularly checking we were ok. We used the washing machine and dryer which was very handy. Overall a good value, well located, clean Airbnb.

Fantastic place to stay for a long weekend. We came to ride bikes and it was close to the starting and ending points of those locations. Beth was a super host and very responsive.

We had a great time here! We parked across the street no problem. The bedroom in the back is like a cave, totally dark with no street noise - we slept so well!!! The only issue to note is that the water is really hard, so bring the right shampoo if that will affect your hair. We will definitely stay here again!

Great location

I only stayed for one night so I didn’t get the value of a full apartment. Positive: The location is great. Plenty of restaurants, breweries and things to do within walking distance. Negative: I wish there was a little more clarity that the unit I booked was across the street from the booking.com address shown. Photos on the listing were of a different unit.

The apartment was exactly as the pictures. We found it bigger and more spacious than we expected. Those high ceilings must be at least 12ft tall! The entire place was spotless. It is also walking distance from downtown but it is also surrounded my really good restaurants. We would definitely use again.

This place was perfect for our long weekend in downtown Roanoke. It was super clean and walkable to many places we wanted to visit - some of our favorites were Golden Cactus Brewing, Fortunato’s and Black Dog Salvage. Beth thought of all the details-nightlights, snacks, Kleenex. Would definitely stay here again for another visit.

Beth‘s place was a good homebase in Roanoke for my mom and I to explore the area! It’s walkable to downtown, and the hosts left lots of little homey touches to make our stay comfortable!

The experience was unlike any I have had with the other company. The house was impeccably, clean, and unlike many other places, they went out of their way to leave items that normally you have to buy. There was coffee and snacks, shampoo and body wash. It just felt like a place you could stay as soon as you walked in. Then after I left, I noticed I had some medical equipment and they went out of their way to mail me the next day. Unbelievable I look forward to staying there again. Thank you.

The apartment is lovely. Parking is a breeze. Right downtown. Spacious and clean. The upstairs neighbors can be heard walking around, dogs barking, laughing, etc, which if you’re a light sleeper can be a little difficult. It’s nothing you can really help when you’re in a city, but it’s good to know if an apartment is quiet inside or not.

The house felt like home. Beth was super responsive and quick to action on things! I didn’t have any issues, other than self-inflicted issues like locking myself out without my phone to check the code to the door…I reached out to Beth through someone else’s phone, and she responded right away!

We really enjoyed our stay at Beth's apartment. It's around the corner from two of our favorite Roanoke breweries and a great taco restaurant, plus an easy walk into downtown for lots of food, drink and attraction options. The apartment is comfortable with a calming vibe. It's actually more spacious than we expected, probably due to the really high ceilings. It's a great restoration of an old store-front. Everything was very clean, and although we didn't use the kitchen much, it's fairly well-equipped. We also appreciated the snacks provided. Parking ended up being easier than we expected too, as we used the "police" lot across the street with no issues. We walked during the day and Ubered into downtown at night. Roanoke is one of our favorite in-state destinations (we live elsewhere in Virginia) and we would definitely stay again on a future visit. Thanks for providing such a lovely apartment!

Apartment is very open. Kitchen well organized. Bedroom is comfy. Bathroom very clean. Apartment located in a great spot downtown. Just out of reach of the congestion. Still close and within waking distance to food and entertainment.

This is an excellent property. The hose is super friendly and VERY accomodating. I have never stayed in a property with so many additional amenties: snacks, high-quality bathroom supplies, lots of clean and new towels and sheets. The apartment was incredibly comfortable and the heating system worked very well in the cold winter. In addition, it is clean and beautifully renovated. This is the type of property renters try to find on AirBnb. I can highly recommend this property for anyone that is planning to go to Roanoke. Beth is a wonderful host. I would definitely stay here again.

Very nice apt with an industrial feel. The immediate neighborhood doesn’t have many attractions but it is a short drive to Market Square and downtown restaurants. Overall, a comfortable place to stay for a few days. All amenities you could want

We found the entrance but because it was the evening all parking spaces were taken. We parked 2 blocks away. When we got to the vestibule door that lock was a bit hard to see. it took me several tries before I was able to access the actual unit door. I'm sure this process is much easier in daylight.

This apartment was absolutely perfect for myself, husband, and dog during our short stay in Roanoke! The space was extremely clean and came stocked with everything you would need. We couldn’t have asked for a better location. We were able to walk to all of the breweries, restaurants, and shopping that we wanted. We also went on several hikes including Mcafee’s knob, tinker cliffs, and dragons tooth. All of these hikes were within a 20-30 minute drive from the apartment. The host was extremely quick to respond and very friendly. We will definitely stay here again if we are in Roanoke!

If you are a beer-fan this may be the best place in the city to stay. Also, there were chips available in the kitchen.

We were in town for high school reunion so really only slept there but it was a very attractive space. Location very close to downtown Roanoke. Parking was sketchy. We found a place on the street each time we returned but it was typically the last spot. We were 2 single females and not comfortable walking the streets in late hours. Otherwise everything was fine.

Clean space and good location

Beth’s place was a good location, within walking distance to a brewery and a few other places. It was a 20 min to McAfee Knob hike. I felt good that the front door had an additional lock that was only shared with one other apt. They had some nice touches such as snacks, coffee, water, toiletries. Both Beth and her partner were very communicative and responsive and eager to offer suggestions of things to do, which was nice as a solo traveler. The place was clean with a full kitchen and a soft bed. I would stay here again.

My mom and I stayed at Beth’s for the night while attending a concert. We really enjoyed her place and would definitely stay again when in the area. Beth’s place has a lot of space, is very, very clean and has everything you would need for a great stay. It was also in a convenient area that is very close to downtown. We were going to a concert at Elmwood Park, which was about a 20 minute walk from her place. Beth gave us clear instructions, which made check in super easy. We would recommend Beth!!

This place was beautiful and looks very similar to my place in Richmond, so I felt right at home! The area was nice and I was able to find great places to eat and walk! The bed was VERY comfortable and I love the privacy the place had. I will be back for sure!

The location of this spot is spectacular and yet quiet. You will be 1 block from 3-4 brewery/restaurants and a great Mexican spot to boot where they'll make you any margarita as spicy as you want it!

This was an amazing spot! We walked downtown for lunch and dinner everyday. The spot is also just around the corner from 2 very cool breweries. The hosts were very proactive, kind, and responsive. Don’t often leave reviews of a bnb stay, but this place was memorable. Really phenomenal host. The place has awesome floors and is well designed and decorated. The space extremely home-y while being flexible enough for you to use in many ways. 10/10 would stay again.

Great place literally around the corner from Golden Cactus Brewing (our favorite place to hang out in Roanoke!). Comfortable and spacious, with a great kitchen, bed and shower! Love the big window in the front of the unit - it lets in a lot of natural light but has frosted glass for privacy. We lucked out and got a parking spot on the street directly in front of the entrance, which was nice. My only complaint is that it was a bit noisy at night. Being right on Campbell Ave. means there is traffic going by and several police sirens. Also the neighbors upstairs were very loud into the wee hours. I would definitely stay there again though - it was perfect for our needs. Thank you, Beth for a nice weekend!

My husband, son (1 year old), and I were in town for a volleyball tournament. We booked for the location being close to some local breweries, although didn't have time to explore. Parking was great over the weekend when the businesses were closed - on the street, in front of the condo. Everything we needed was provided. And the matress was AMAZINGGGGGG!!! Best night sleep we're getting one for home! Would absolutely book again if we head to the area!

Beth’s appartement is beautifully appointed, with fully equipped kitchen, spotless bathroom and lots of nice touches (variety of toiletries, cotton buds, teas and snack). The host was incredibly friendly and responsive. And the location is very convenient for both train station and downtown. Will definitely be staying again!

We absolutely loved this little spot in downtown Roanoke. We were able to walk to some amazing restaurants and breweries (Beamers 25 and Golden Cactus were our favorites)! The apartment itself has everything you need and felt super homey. The only "downfall" is that the walls are pretty thin and we could hear our neighbors come back one evening after a night out. There is also a dog-clinic a few doors down which led to some "obstacles" on the sidewalk while walking around and any time we wanted to get out and walk around we would have to walk around the dogs and their owners on the sidewalk. Both of those small inconveniences are completely out of the owners control and this place is still absolutely fabulous - this will probably become our go-to spot when visiting Roanoke!

Probably the best Airbnb experience I’ve …ever had? Seriously. This place is in an old store front and was super cool. Extremely tall ceilings, original floor, exposed pipe, but all modernized and cozy. The hosts were super helpful and responsive, and the location is superb especially if you’ve not spent a lot of time in Roanoke before. It is close to everything and felt very safe, with lots of options for food & beverage within walking distance. Was not expecting to enjoy this stay/Roanoke this much but now we can’t wait to come back!

Overall great stay. Nice unit, with a good location for our needs. Was clean, comfortable, and felt safe. Host was very helpful. Unit was a bit dark, as the only window is in the living room. It is next door to a dog rescue, which was pretty noisy one of the mornings. Note: you will probably need a car in Roanoke - most of the town is not very walkable, and this unit is just on the edge of walkable to downtown. Parking in front is time-limited during the week, but you can park on the next block. Host sent good information about parking options, so not a problem.

Great accommodations in a great spot! The snacks were a nice addition. Unique passcode made the lock combo super easy to remember. Comfy bed and couch, free street parking nearby and walkable to everything, I’d definitely recommend staying here! We’ll be back!

Great little air bnb! Very cozy and close to everything

Nice place to stay, spacious, easy to find, and Beth was very communicative. Had every amenity you would need for a short trip. The only issue was the animal shelter next door had barking dogs that woke us up, which I must have skipped over in the reviews.
