Clean & Bright Ground Floor 1BR Apartment in Uptown

Host had great communication throughout the stay and was accommodating to any questions or issues we had. The location was quiet, peaceful, and walkable. The apartment itself was set up nicely and provided all the essentials (coffee, tea, core spices, shampoo, conditioner, etc.). The apartment is truly pet friendly (I didn't have to dog proof anything besides a fake plant). Would stay again.

We had an amazing stay! Stephen was so responsive to all of my questions. The place was easy to get in, beautifully decorated, and fit the description perfectly.

We had such a great time staying here. It was very clean and cozy. You can tell that the host put a lot of thought into making the stay convenient by including things like silverware, plates, and salt and pepper. We loved the decor, and the check-in process was amazing. Stephen was extremely proactive about reaching out to us with instructions and making us feel welcome. The smoothie shop around the corner was very good as well, which was great. Thank you, Stephen, for an amazing experience!

A wonderful tiny home! It has everything you need, so clean and very comfortable! I normally do not sleep the greatest when I’m not at home but I had no troubles! Very quiet area but could take a nice walk. Stephen was a great host! His YouTube video to show how to unlock the key pad was extremely helpful! I’ll for sure be back next time I’m in the area for work!

Steve was such a great host! He was very proactive in giving all the information needed to access the unit, so checking in was a breeze. He was always very responsive when we had questions. The apartment itself was immaculate, and in a very good location.

This guy told me a unit was available I came to unit and he blocked my account and had no where to sleep that night.

This was my FIRST AirBNB experience and although skeptical, Stephen was very professional, responsive and what you would expect from a great host(ess). Being from Martinsville I was very interested in seeing the renovation of the building. The accommodations were great. Clean and as advertised. Much better than a hotel. I hope I'm able to reserve my next visit home!

Stephen's place was perfect for the week. We needed a last minute place for a few days and this was great. It was clean and like the pictures showed. Stephen was very responsive if needed and great to work with. I highly recommend his place if you are in the area!

10/10 would recommend. We had the best experience at this location. The time here felt like home. Water pressure was great and heated up quick. Everything you needed in electronic device plugs in for charging. Everything was CLEAN! Washer/dryer, blow dryer, towels and even snacks they left for us on the counter! Definitely will come back to this location when we visit in the future! The host was extremely responsive and helpful when needed! Truly a beautiful and pleasant experience.

Stephen was a great host, and made my first AirBnB experience an easy one. The flat was lovely, very clean and had a lot of amenities. It was warm and fit the needs of our weekend perfectly!

We were in Martinsville for Nascar weekend and Steve’s place was perfect. It was super clean, fully stocked, and in a great location close to the track. We plan on hopefully returning in the spring!

All I can say is it was Excellent.

This new apartment was an unexpected yet delightful discovery on AirB&B. It is in downtown Martinsville, very convenient for my business trips. The unlocking system for the front door was not intuitive for me, but that is not the fault of the owner. Once inside, I found an immaculate apartment, very nicely furnished, with a well-designed floor plan. I was concerned that street noise might be disturbing, but the apartment was protected from that noise. The bedroom was most comfortable. I slept very well on the mattress and with pillows Stephen had selected. The bath was well lit and well stocked. All in all, a wonderful experience. Since I travel there often, I do hope to return. Thank you, Stephen!
