April 2025 5.00The 2nd floor apartment I rented is beautiful, comfortable and spacious. It includes every conceivable amenity. There are many interesting photos, paintings, collections and antiques in the well decorated and furnished space. The bed is extremely comfortable and the bedding is first class. The neighborhood is old and comfortable. The place is a block or two from the greenway that parallels the Roanoke River for many miles. There are 3 very good restaurants within easy walking distance. The house has a large wrap-around porch with chairs and tables. The front garden is beautifully planted. It’s a friendly neighborhood. I’m very happy with my time here and I will gladly stay here in the future.

June 2024 5.00This house is one of the best I have ever rented. It has a lot of space, light, and plants. Everything is done with quality and taste. The kitchen is fully equipped, the internet is fast and stable. The hosts and neighbors are very nice people! We were lucky to find this place, I highly recommend it to everyone!

February 2024 5.00Great space. It is a home and feels that way. The person who lives there has a wonderful sense of style and lighting. You’ll see. More kitchen appliances than you could dream of, including a standing mixer and a bunch of rolling pins. The house has an Alexa hooked up which I thought I’d dislike but it was alright. You can play Jeopardy! on it. There’s a space to work from home with a desk and office chair. Another room which we used for yoga. Then the bedroom with one of those beds you can adjust. Soft sheets. Claw foot tub! And lots of plants. The host, Stephen was responsive, easy to talk to, and accommodating. I was unable to meet him for check in, so he met my boyfriend instead who is not on Airbnb. He was cool with the unexpected change and texted halfway through our stay to make sure everything was going well. The neighborhood has a good pricey coffee shop, a gas station store and a park with basketball hoops within walking distance. Parking was no problem. Friendly neighbors.
