Aaron’s place is amazing. By far the best Airbnb I’ve stayed in. The place is HUGE, and I love the original floors in the place. The kitchen is to die for with the breakfast nook on the side, the whole place was beautiful and will definitely stay again for a longer period of time next time.

Very adorable! Clean and organized with everything needed. Cute basket of kids snacks and a few other things left as well.

Clean and great location. Super dog friendly. 10 minutes from everything.

Aaron's home in Roanoke is a great place to stay. We spent two days there and really enjoyed it. The 2 bedroom apartment is a portion of an old house. The woodwork throughout the home as well as the hardwood floors were beautiful. The vintage looking refrigerator in the kitchen was a really nice touch. Three big beds in two bedrooms were very comfortable. The kitchen and bathrooms were modern as was the HVAC system. The big screen TV in the living room was a plus since we had two small children! We will definitely stay there again on our next trip to Roanoke!

Aaron's place felt like home. Even better: I wish it were our home! What an incredible place, fully stocked with everything we could possibly need. Thank you, thank you!

This place was great for our family. We loved the quiet neighborhood feel and immediate access to the greenway for walks while still being close to shopping and dining. Aaron’s communication was faultless—proactive with providing all the information we needed and giving immediate responses anytime we reached out. The apartment is super clean and obviously well cared for, making it feel very welcoming and easy to feel settled-in.

Aaron’s place has everything you need! Close to the greenway and some wonderful eateries/breweries. The house was perfectly clean and spacious. Will certainly be staying again. 👍

Nice house and neighborhood

Place was actually bigger and better than expected. Sadly there was construction of the bridge across the way but we still were able to sit on the porch and enjoy coffee while watching the bikers and runners. The place was spotless. We felt very comfortable there.

In town for a friend’s birthday celebration and had a last minute lodging cancellation, so lucky to find this place for us to stay! Everyone loved it! So clean, cozy, and nice common space to visit with one another-much better than the hotel rooms we originally had planned. Quick Uber ride downtown for dinner and music and easy check in and out.

Came in from sc to spend time with our father who is in poor health. Our host was so kind to let us check in early. We really enjoyed the house. It was so beautiful and well appointed. The surrounding area was great as well. Near to bakery and coffee shop. Will definitely be back.

This stay was even better than expected! The home was gorgeous and my friends and I felt like we were staying in a luxury home right out of a Hallmark movie! Aaron was extremely communicative through the whole process and was easy to reach for any reason! Will be staying here again.

Aaron was able to accommodate our last-minute booking and was helpful and communicative. The space was absolutely beautiful! Very clean and nicely furnished. We hope to return!

Beautiful home in a great part of town. Only "issue" is that it is connected to the adjacent parts of the house that are divided for other guests and you can pretty much hear them all the time. This may or may not be an issue depending on who you're lucky enough to stay with.

The rental was perfect for my family and I. We had a great time in the house. It looks like the pictures and was quite comfortable. Street parking was always available near the house. And when we had a question about the house we had a response within minutes. We would happily stay in this home or one of the other units again.

Aarons rental is very nicely updated and well furnished. I enjoyed the convenience of a couple local decent restaurants. My only suggestion would be to place a rice paper film on front door glass to allow for privacy from a porch camera directed right at door window in livingroom.

This was a cute neighborhood with a little coffee shop and Bakery right behind us. The house was very well laid our and clean. Beds were comfortable. Very convenient location for our purposes.

Great location with a delicious coffee place across the street and bakery next door. There was a construction site across the street but it was not active over the weekend during our stay. There was a large park one block over that was perfect for dog walking. The building is on the older side and walls were thinner, so there was some noise from the neighbors next door and the tenant above us in the early morning hours. Overall, it was the perfect space and location for our needs.

This is a fabulous home! This is certainly one of the best, cleanest, and most beautiful places we have stayed in. High quality design! And Aaron was a fabulous host.

Enjoyable stay - beautiful location; loved the wood floors and steps and the decor - lots of character; nice porch that I wish we had had more time to enjoy; very clean, roomy and comfortable; would definitely return again!

The place was perfect for a mother daughter(s) trip. House was exactly as promised, relaxing, homey and very clean. The location couldn’t have been better; right on the greenway plus coffee, adventure store, restaurants and ice cream all within a block or two. I would definitely stay again!

We love this place so much! Stayed in the Trailway Suite last year and just spent a long weekend in the Parkway Suite and we’ll be back for sure! Great place, great location, and a great host!

The place was beautiful!! Well appointed and comfortable . There is a major construction project going on that needs to be disclosed tho.

Very nice place to stay. Neighborhood was not as noisy as other reviews made it, only real noise was in the afternoon/evening when people were out running and walking but at night was quiet. Beautiful place to stay.

Amazing place!

Really beautiful house and a convenient location. Wish we’d had more time to spend there. Was just coming and going for Virginia tech graduation, but you’ll enjoy the coffee shop and bakery shop next-door as well. The house within immaculate condition.

Right in the heart of the Wasena neighborhood of Roanoke. On the same block as a coffee place called Roasters Next Door. Inside the home is stunning it is a beautiful space and close to everything. Would 100% recommend staying here!

I stayed in the “A” apartment in Aaron’s historic house. The apartment was simply beautiful. The rooms were huge, with high ceilings and impressive windows. The bathrooms were stocked with towels, toilet tissue, and all basic products (such as soap and lotion). The kitchen was lovely and fully stocked with plates, bowls, eating utensils, cooking utensils, and pots and pans. The hot water kettle was wonderful and kept the tea flowing. The home was a very short (1-2 minutes) walk to restaurants, a coffee shop, and a large park with trails for biking. I very much enjoyed my stay.

This was a beautiful apartment in a gigantic home. Beautiful woodwork, high ceilings, absolutely gorgeous home. The apartment is only part of the home, but the home is so large, it doesn't matter - plenty of space for six of us to spread out. Every room was well appointed with flawless interior design. Blooms in the trees outside the bedroom window flooded our room with pleasant scent. There's a wine bar next door, a convenience store where you can pick up necessities, and a wonder grill three blocks away, as well as access to the Greenway for a nice little walk. Short drive to the downtown and the star on the hill. Just perfect for a family (with grandparents!). Big stairs, cute little deck for sitting, cozy beds. Felt polished and homey at the same time, which is a rare combination. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Only negative was street parking was a bit of a hassle, exacerbated by our being there on garbage collection day.
