If you happen to be traveling through or around Martinsville, I definitely recommend you check out this place! Stephen was great at accommodating myself and my family at the last minute plus the place was so welcoming/cozy! 5starts for sure!!

Stephen's apartment is such a unique, well reused space in Martinsville. His communication from start to finish was top notch. The uptown Martinsville area is very pedestrian friendly, with restaurants, brewery and a ice cream parlor just minutes away. I also walked a slight bit further and visited the very well done Smithsonian affiliated Virginia Museum of Natural History. I look forward to coming back.

The unit was perfect for a week long stay, with amenities to make the stay comfortable. The host added nice touches, such as snacks and coffee. The location is walkable to restaurants, grocery stores, and the nearby coffee shop and brewery. It's an old loft space which has a fun vibe, though you can hear neighbors at times which I found minimal and not disruptive. Stephen communicated well and was quick to action when I had questions.

Initially, this place looked like a five-star paradise in photos—reality check ahead! We arrived late, struggling to get in due to a locked door and a host who must’ve been practicing yoga because he fell asleep mid-chat, leaving us stranded in the cold. Luckily, our friend came to the rescue, or we would’ve been camping out in the parking lot! Once inside, we were greeted with a “watch your step” sign and a staircase practically begging for a reality show. It’s clear the place was converted from an office; the ceiling squeaked and creaked like an old horror flick, and we got to overhear the neighbors’ passionate debates during our attempts to sleep. The couch? A snack-sized joke; we barely fit two people on it. In short, it was an adventure filled with unexpected thrills and a lot of laughs—just not the kind of getaway we had in mind!

This is right in the middle of town. Anywhere in Henry County in 20 minutes or less. Can walk to Starbucks - we are very pleased with the experience and will continue to use this location when we come into town to visit family.

Really enjoyed my stay!

I booked very last minute but Stephen was accommodating. Very clean and walkable location. Only negative was the other guests in nearby units were noisy and walls weren’t very thick to block out noises, but I could live with that for a couple days in such a clean and convenient place. For a short stay, it’s great.

I stayed 3 nights and everything was wonderful. Communication was very quick and kind. Apartment was exactly as described. I travel to Martinsville for work frequently, and this will be the first place I check from here out.

Had a great weekend stay! The apartment was super clean, comfortable bed and pillows. Complimentary snacks and water was a nice touch as well. They thought of everything. Steven was very helpful with local information and responsive. Anyone needing to stay to be close to Lake Sugar Tree MX Park in Axton, check this place out!
